Finding Light in the Darkest Places

Finding Light in the Darkest Places

Having just returned with a small team from Bolivia working with our friends at Project Suma, I left challenged and inspired. The team at Project Suma continues to do an amazing job of sharing the hope of Christ with so many women who desperately need to experience that hope. My heart breaks every time I go and meet these women who have believed that “this is all there is.” This is “all they deserve.” This is the extent of their value. It just breaks my heart.

The encouragement comes when I see the amazing Project Suma team that loves on these women and their families every day. Who, without judgment or condemnation, shares the love and hope of Jesus with them. This Project Suma team is literally LIGHT in the darkest of places. In all the years I have partnered with Project Suma, I get inspired every time when I see the sacrifice and service this team pours out consistently. And then to see the transformation of these special ladies. You see hope return to their faces. You see possibility arise in their spirit. It is truly life changing.

On this last trip I was also encouraged by the efforts that Project Suma is making to build collaboration with other churches in the community. Teaching, training, encouraging these churches to link arms and make a difference…together. I felt God was bonding them together to make an even great impact than ever before.

I want to thank Project Suma and its  team for the tireless work to battle Human Trafficking in this beautiful country. The need remains huge but Project Suma is making a difference one special lady at a time. It is an honor and privilege for me to serve this team and support the work of Project Suma. If you are looking for a place to invest in a ministry that is truly seeing transformation, Project Suma is where you should invest. You’ll be glad you did!
